Hyundai has completed its A-Series range of compact excavators, with the launch of the HX10A Z.
This Hyundai micro excavator is the smallest model in the line-up, yet delivers class-leading performance, stability and versatility.
The HX10A Z tips the scales at 1,165kg, putting it at the top of the micro excavator sector. With a zero tail swing design, the compact machine sits on a retractable undercarriage. Fully retracted, the machine can pass through a 730mm doorway, yet when fully extended to 1,110mm, the machine delivers stability and productivity. This is assisted by the standard dozer blade, adding to the excavator’s versatility.
Power comes from a 7.6kW (10.35hp) diesel engine that delivers 39.4Nm of torque. With twin 10.4 litre/min hydraulic pumps, the machine offers up to a class-leading 10.8kN of bucket breakout force and 6.3kN of dipper arm force. Advanced rubber engine mounts reduce vibration and boost durability.
Built with a single high specification, the machine has a 1,450mm monoboom and an 890mm dipper arm. This provides a maximum digging depth of 2,205mm and a forward reach of up to 3,400mm. This increased dump height and longer reach makes it easy to load 1-tonne site dumpers and skips, while two-way auxiliary piping is standard, suitable for a variety of powered attachments.
The HX10A Z has a top mounted boom cylinder, for additional protection from damage and hydraulic hoses are internally routed for protection from impact. Front guards and LED working lights further protect dig-end components and provide improved visibility in all working conditions.
The machine is equipped with a folding ROPS canopy, for improved access and easier transportation. An ergonomic operator station has adjustable consoles and secure seating, providing a comfortable working environment.
